Look, not trying to dissuade anyone. I made this move over 20 years ago and it worked out very well for me. Just go into it eyes wide open, especially if you have a family. IME, the biglaw spouse/partner cannot (or does not) contribute equally, so just have a frank discussion with your spouse/partner about how biglaw will invade pretty much every aspect of your current family set up.
