University of Washington is much more selective and has a better international reputation than Wisco. USNWR has this one wrong …
Except it’s a trash academic school all around except for cs. Cmon Washington at least try in the humanities. Given that’s you’re a Washington booster, I’m surprised you can even spell and use grammar. This compounded with the fact that Washington is located in the tech hub of Seattle and Wisconsin in Madison makes Wisconsin’s all around dominance even more hilarious and satisfying.
Washington absolutely shits all over ‘sconsin in all areas STEM, but sure, pretend that it’s the late 19th century and the humanities is where it’s at.
“shits all over” Thanks mature adult By the way, you’re also wrong. Wisconsin matches Washington across all stem; engineering, cs, biology, chemistry, physics. Either Wisconsin is ranked ahead in every program ( that is everything I just listed minus cs). Even in cs, Wisconsin is T15, not far behind. Now take all that and realize Wisconsin has top Econ, business, English, philosophy, history, poetry etc. Wisconsin can produce lawyers, bankers, engineers, poets, and academics and it’s in Wisconsin ( which certainly is unfavorable compared to Seattle). Case closed booster.
