The Landon kid has been at the school since at least 9th grade -- pretty big difference from a senior transfer.

Longtime observers may remember that Bullis tried this before, and eventually the system broke down because the longtime families realized there was not a meaningful opportunity for participation by the average Bullis student and they stopped coming out for football.  Time will tell -- maybe they'll just have a tiered system with outside recruits/transfers for football, basketball, lacrosse, and everyone else can play the other sports, and the community will be okay with it.  Financially, it appears they are paying for the full scholarship athletes by increasing enrollment to bring in full payers to balance it off.  [/quote]
