Only half gets in because UVA is all about yield protection and wants diversity. Why would they accept 100% of students from a single HS! Even 50% from TJ is too much IMO. I’ve heard many stories of students getting into more highly ranked schools only to be rejected by UVA. Yield matters. ED matters. [/quote]
