It’s not crooked tryouts, you showed your crazy to the club too early and they decided they don’t want to deal with you. If they didn’t know you as a crazy and your DD was fast, they would absolutely take her. This is a you problem more than an RMSC problem.
Rockville residents are crazy, crazy to pay for a pool we don't even get to use.
You get to use the pool, you just don’t get an automatic placement on RMSC Rockville’s team.
I'm not touching that pool this year. I've already had to have antibiotics for infections from it.
Is it too crowded or are taxes being used for something that nobody can use? You claim both but those two are in conflict.
No, they aren't. A High proportion of non-residents are using it. This year a major aquatic center nearby closed; it will be even more crowded. There are several other threads that have established this. As KSAC parents search vainly for a facility, and have crowded out opportunities for other kids to use the classes or teams. It's in the lede. You can't close a major aquatics facility near by and say "same great" service. Some kids will get locked out of classes, some people will forgo pool time, kids will get left off the teams. This has already started as RMSC tried to move kids over.
