PP here. Do not gaslight. Biden is far from just “forgetful.” He had a serious progressive neurological deficit, something that was actively covered up by Democratic leadership and the mainstream press.

Trump has had issues for years.[/b] Biden, in comparison, has sharply and precipitously declined. Anyone who watches coverage of the two of them regularly can see it. There is a reason Biden’s press exposure has been so carefully curated of late.

The Republicans for better or worse have seen Trump’s deficiencies — mental, criminal, whatever — and accepted them. They are out there for the world to see. The Republicans aren’t hiding who Trump is right now.

However, the Democrats haven’t trusted their voters the same way. They’ve actively hidden Biden’s terrible and glaringly obvious decline. They continue to pretend we all can’t see what’s going on. They continue to gaslight and disassemble. It’s offensive to loyal Democratic voters, who deserve the truth.

I think this election could still be won by Democrats, but not if they continue insulting the intelligence and perception of their voters. Unfortunately that looks like the path the DNC has decided on. [/quote]

No, it’s realism. The RNC doesn’t hide Trump’s issues. They celebrate them, which is awful enough, but they don’t cover it up. You can see Trump’s mental faculties. You can see the convictions. You can see the trial footage, see his insane Truth Social posts, you can see it all. Yes he has the kind of dementia that makes him nasty and cruel, we can all see it. But we see it because the RNC doesn’t hide it.

The DNC by contrast hides Biden’s failures. They’ve been able to get the mainstream media to toe the line, which is remarkable. They continue to lie about his capacity, continue to insult the intelligence of voters (many of whom have cared for elderly relatives with cognitive decline and who recognize it). Their aim is to deceive. And up until the debate, it worked. [/quote]

I guarantee you 100% that the media is just covering it's back. If the debate didn't happen the media would have continued hiding Biden's issues. If there are Democratic voters who truly believe that the media found out for the first time like they did that Biden had those issues then I don't know what to say.[/quote]
