Doesn't seem she was neglected. Her mother was a SAHM until she was 10 then worked selling tupperware. She was a middle child. She says her home was filled with dance and music and she ran track at a national level, played softball, took dance, was in school plays and musicals. She attended an all girls Catholic school. When she was a young adult she dropped out of college to pursue a dance career and this greatly upset her parents who didn't support this move. At this point there was a brief rift and she didn't talk to them for a few months. [/quote]

All girl high school explains it.

If her mom was a stay at home mom with three kids and they were in Catholic school, that means dad was probably working a lot and barely spending time with the girls.

Also explains it.
