Sidwell has so many of you in a stranglehold. This thread is about which DMV school is the most famous, and all you can talk about (for 17 pages) is “Sidwell, Sidwell, Sidwell.” It’s fascinating to witness the hate, mixed with admiration and envy.
That’s because there’s a Sidwell booster troll stirring the pot.
Why are you letting that person get under your skin. Based on these 17 pages of posts, it actually looks like Sidwell is the most famous school. Y’all are giving this way too much oxygen.
You’re also stirring the pot while pretending to be the voice of reason. You’re basically the only person commenting at this point. Seems like you just want to get the debate going again.
🙄 Then please continue to argue with Sidwell parents about the school. Be my guest to do that for another 17 pages, while proving absolutely nothing other than your ability to talk at length about Sidwell. Goodnight.
Not an argument, just a suggestion. Some free advice. Sidwell parents--- since your school administrators aren't taking care of the school, maybe parents can start one or two DIY school improvement/beautification projects. A couple of posters brought up that eyesore of a baseball field. What a great place to start! Parents from the burbs could bring in their lawn care equipment, buy some fertilizer and sod or seed. Take down the crappy plastic bunting on the fence, and repaint every painted surface. It wouldn't address the biggest problems there, but it could convey the message, "somebody actually cares about this school!" Could be fun too!
Oooh, this looks like fun! Tell us what school your child(ren) attend so we can offer you helpful suggestions. 😀
