My waitlisted, now accepted DD had 284. It's all lottery, but rejected from AOS is weird. Maybe she didn't answer the essay question correctly or had too low scores in the science part of the test?[/quote]

For the 70000th time, admissions is NOT solely based on this test. It's a quarter of the admission. Essay, teacher open fields, and actual middle school grades count.

My Asian kid has been attending Kumon for years, and received offers for both AOS and AET IT.
