Mine attended a program after being nominated by the school and then taking a test/writing essays. Not all have a test. The acceptance rate from the nominees across the state is around 10% depending on the area. It is a big deal just to be nominated by the high school, but to get accepted is meaningful academic boost on an application. List it under awards. Kid's group from Gov School had impressive success in the college admission process. [/quote]
