I just listened to Beyonce's version of "Jolene" and I don't like it. The lyrics are reworked to be empowering or threatening or something. Beyonce might've produced the best version of the song ever (and this song has been covered extensively) if she kept the lyrics as originally written. Whitney Houston covered "I Will Always Love You" and turned a beautiful song into a masterpiece. Beyonce missed an opportunity, imo.[/quote]
