That isn't true, at least not in the way you're presenting it.

The reason that more than half (58%) of the 240 exonerations handled by the Innocence Project are black is because there is persistent racial disparity in the criminal justice system, and black people are more likely to be wrongfully convicted - 19 times more likely in the case of drug convictions, for instance.

Reading what you wrote again, it is absolutely a false assertion - you're contending that the Innocence Project only takes BIPOC cases. Totally false assertion.
