Meh, I’m not voting Republican and I don’t like obvious trolls. OP is never in a million years going to vote Republican. She is literally a lifelong Democrat. I mean OP can keep pretending this thread is “telling” or whatever fantasy she wants to keep up to justify her trolling, but anyone who is honest knows the truth of what OP is and what OP is doing.
OP. No, I’m a Moderate. People on this forum keep saying that the parties are identical, so I invited those same people to make the case for me to vote for the Republican Party based on the issues that are most important to me. No one has. You disliking my post isn’t me trolling and the lack of answers for why I should positively vote for the Republican Party is an answer.
No, you’re not a moderate. You said up front you’ve voted Democratic your entire life. You listed the three things you care about, which match exactly with Democratic Party positions. You are not a moderate, you are a loyal lifelong Democrat. We can all see the truth, no matter how much you scrabble around to try to hide it. If I can see the truth, and I will never, ever vote Republican, I don’t see why any actual Republican would even engage.
Those are moderate positions because they are held by the majority of Americans.
How do you determine the majority of Americans support your position? Are you studying polls? On abortion, for example, a recent poll finds that half do not support abortion beyond 15 weeks and two thirds think it should be banned after 24 weeks. If you support after 15 weeks you are not with the majority and, thus, by your definition, your position is not moderate.
I’m not OP but the majority of Americans believe abortion should be legal in all or most cases. https://apnorc.org/projects/most-americans-support-legal-abortion-with-some-restrictions-ap-norc/
Your own link shows that 51% support up to 15 weeks, but only 27% up to 24 weeks. Am guessing OP supports beyond 15 weeks, putting her into the minority.
Why are you getting bogged down with the number of weeks? OP didn’t mention anything about weeks.
