Of course, there are some with extreme issues with auditory and visual processing, but there are a lot of kids who struggle with it to a lesser degree. It is difficult to realize just how deprived some of these kids are. Think about it--if you have never been exposed to nursery rhymes, then rhyming words with a different beginning letter is a foreign concept. Yes, kids can learn it, but it has to be taught. While some kids have had this with them since infancy, for others it is a new concept. [/quote]
