No thank you.[/quote] There's more socioeconomic diversity than you think, at least at our Big 3. Most of my son's friends have parents who are either feds, work in non-profits or the like (like us), or are teachers. They sacrifice to send their children private and one gets a discount since they teach at the school. Yes, there is a lot of privilege, but he is kept grounded at home and among his peer group and we reap the benefit of an outstanding education. We tried public, and it was a nightmare. Didn't realize how different it could be. No where is perfect, but wouldn't trade this for public. [/quote]
