Thank you! This feels totally insane. I’m most worried about them getting inside without an adult but since the MetLife stadium website talks about dropping off/picking up your kid I guess they are expecting people to do that? I think I’ve found a friend of one dd who is going with an adult and the girls can get a ride with them, hoping they will let them in together even though they aren’t sitting close by. I will go to pick them up and there seems to be a designated pickup lot I can enter at 10pm.[b] I know they won’t want to leave early but I’m going to ask them to leave early so hopefully we can beat the crowd leaving and getting out of there. Is that a totally ridiculous thought?? [/b]
I ordered clear bags and t shirts for them just now that will hopefully be delivered tomorrow, then we will surprise them on Friday morning. My older dd is so mopey but trying to be “cool” about not going as she keeps learning about more and more of her friends who are going. [/quote]

It only helps so much, unless they leave really early. Standing up halfway through "Karma" is not going to do much (I did this in Nashville because it was 1:30 AM and it didn't help). I'd just be ready at the pickup lot and be prepared to spend a lot of time in waiting and in traffic. You won't be the only parent waiting for kids by a longshot.[/quote]

Doubtful. Obviously it's a different stadium, but what my BIL & SIL did for the Philly show was to take the girls to a specific spot the afternoon before the show so they knew where to go to get collected. They dropped a pin too so if the girls needed it, they could use GPS to navigate back there. I know after my show in Nashville that cell service wasn't great b/c everyone was trying to get rides or connect with their rides. Not sure about the Philly show, though. Anyway, my BIL drove and my SIL got out of the car and walked to the meeting spot after the show to collect the girls. She and the girls then walked back and met up with their dad who was still pretty much in the same location. They were stuck in the pickup lot for around 90 minutes, I think she said.

So if you're going to ask them to leave early, make sure you stress for them to go use the bathroom first. My SIL said they saw tons of girls going between cars because the wait to get out was so long and there were no port-a-potties in the drop zone.

Also, just throwing it out there, I don't think the kids will actually leave as asked once they are there in the experience. Karma, the last song, is such a cool finale with fireworks & confetti...and it's been all over social media. [/quote]

Yes, this is a big one! I went with my mom and had her hold the back of my shirt while we were leaving b/c the crowd moves you and I didn't want to lose her. It worked out great. I'd give them that suggestion for sure. [/quote]
