This is insulting. I am a teacher and I pride myself on critical thinking. We are bullied into joining MCEA the minute we are hired. They did that dog and pony snow at the council all on their own. I didn’t even know they were going. And I pay attention.  There is a clear separation between the MCEA leadership and everyday teachers in the classroom. We do have critical issues that need to be addressed.  But I don’t believe for one second MCEA will help resolve any of them. [/quote]
