[/quote] I also model the importance of me time with our kids (two daughters) but I don't do it by fighting with my husband in front of them. They see how important it is for both of us to have time to ourselves to see our friends, engage in our hobbies, relax, etc. But at least we're modeling to them a healthy productive way of providing me time for both people without building resentment.
