It's just a name. [/quote] I think they need to get rid of the DCC all together. I get why they started it but it no longer makes sense. It's basically school choice..and not offering that to all families is inequitable. They either make other consortiums or get rid of the concept period.[/quote] They did the DCC consortium with specialty programs and placed the MS "magnets" at specific schools to attract wealthier families to those schools to balance them out.[/quote] But so much has changed in this region since the many decades ago when all this was done that it is no longer meaningful.[/quote] The DCC started in ~2005.[/quote]
