And since it’s just a lottery, you’re pretty much guaranteed a cohort of other kids who are strong in math at your home middle school. In my opinion, the advanced math pathways for non-magnet are good (AIM in 6th or algebra if your child is very advanced), and the engineering/technology/programming electives are solid. [/quote]
