Herschel Walker was an outstanding and much beloved UGA football player who rose to stardom after growing up in a small rural community with few opportunities for anyone, especially if Black. I think voters will cut him a lot of slack. [/quote]
Cutting him some slack and making him a US Senator are two different things. The Republican Party’s support for Walker is so cynical. He is in no way qualified or capable or even a semi decent person. He’s just a black man with name recognition who is a MAGA, and apparently that was enough to run him against Warnock.[/quote]
