Yes. And I was waiting for some Lannister-style payback. Aemond is a twerp that got what he deserved. And I wanted Allicent to face some punishment for trying to kill! the heir to the throne.

If it wasn't clear before, it is going to be an S-show when the King dies.

I don't know if we'll see Laenor again ( I wasn't sure if I was seeing him at the end, but the showrunner comments make it clear it was him), but I'm kind of digging the icky Damon/Rhaenyra pairing.[/quote]

+1. Hate Aemond, Alicent and her whole nasty family. Why aren’t there consequences for Alicent attempting to maim the heir? I like Daemon/Rhaenyra together and she needs his cunning and intelligence because she’s so pathetic like her father.
