BTS’s dating and shipping. They’re idols so won’t say anything and don’t date publicly, but there’s constant speculation and analysis whenever they post photos.
Along these lines I would like to know: 1) What, exactly, Hybe gives to Dispatch and the other Korean tabloids to keep their artists (not just BTS but like, TXT, Seventeen, Enhypen, all those dudes, and their bazillions of trainees) out of the tabloids and away from dating scandals. Look up Dispatch D-Festa aka the “hostage concert.” Look up BTS’s continued attendance of The Fact Music Awards, which is a 1000% no-name thing but they go every year. It’s very sus and complicated. Also for any longer time K-ent fans, during one of the previous presidential administrations which was really corrupt, the government would literally use the tabloids to leak idol/actor dating news when another government scandal was about to break. It’s hard to find info about this now because k-ent wasn’t as big of a thing in the west back then, this was like 2014-2016 stuff. But following it at the time it 100% happened. 2) Are Jennie from Blackpink and G-Dragon really actually dating?!
JiKook. All of it: Japan. The Rings. Laguna. Rose Bowl. They won’t just deny it and end all the shipping.
I'm convinced it is Taekook now.
What convinced you? I don’t see it.
DP, well personally I think the companies instruct the idols to play up the “shipping” behavior because a lot of the fans go crazy for it. Also because it’s a decent cover if any members (of any groups because a lot of groups do this) actually are in a relationship with someone else. There are also legitimate cultural differences at play too. So I think the ships are like, 50% fans just wanting it to be true but if/when it’s not they’ll just eventually accept it and move on, 25% sh*t posting for the laughs, 24% true believers, and like 1% “… huh is there really something there?” Who even knows??
I'm the PP Taekooker, and I would say that this is about 70% of Hybe promoting ships for attention, which feeds into the 29% of fans wanting it to be true, with a 1% maybe something there. These two lately because they are emerging as the two $exiest members. Of course, Jungkook would be hot with a stale tuna sandwich. See the twitter frenzy from the concert tonight in Vegas. (Yes, I am older than their parents).
