The only people making “tipped” wages are restaurant servers serving dine in customers. That is what the tip is for. The dining service. Their employer is wrong is they are having them work a service that does not provide tips (take out) and still paying them the tipped wage. This is not a customer problem, it is an employer problem. If you're mad at their compensation model, stop going there AND TELL THEM WHY. All you're doing is penalizing the people at the "bottom rungs", as you yourself put it.[/quote]
