Again, not seeing a lot of examples around nepotism etc. and seems like those examples would be easy to state.  Sounds like there's one guy who was on board who also was a ref who had some personal conflict issues.  Other than that there are number of coaches in FCYBL (not just at CYA) who holler at their teams and/or get flack for who they select (or leave off).  Not sure why such venom directed at one org (CYA) without much in way of specifics.  Have no direct experience with them but what I've seen at FCYBL games they're pretty much like all other travel/select coaches (some good, some ok but most positive..)
