Which teachers unions would those be in Virginia? Just curious.
Yes, I know--you are pointing out that teachers unions are not in Virginia. You are very naive if you do not realize that the School Boards listen to the organizations, associations, unions or whatever you wish to call them. In Fairfax County, Kimberly Adams has been the president of the Fairfax Education Association. She has the ear of the School Board and they listen to her. Randi Weingarten, the president of the American Federation of Teachers has strong ties in the White House. She has been very involved in CDC decisions which are followed in Virginia. In the state of Virginia, teachers' unions are now allowed to collective bargain with the school systems. FCPS School Board has already announced that they will begin collective bargaining this School Year. Teachers' unions are poison. They are out for themselves--not the teachers and not the students.
