+1. She would have been 40 when she got pregnant and I know many women pregnant at that age. Plus no one knows if she was on birth control all those years before, that’s just speculation. I did read a while back that she froze her eggs so she clearly wanted kids. [/quote]

Do better research. That’s still enough eggs to get pregnant in any given month. I know at least 20 women who easily got pregnant over 40. My mom had me at 42 and my little sister at 48 without any IVF involved. It’s not really that unusual.

Everyone knows it is entirely possible for some women to get pregnant  naturally at 40. That’s not even remotely in dispute. And as other PPs have pointed out, very few reputable clinics would perform IVF where one partner is married to someone else. It could be natural or not, obviously no one on this thread knows either way. [/quote]
