I am not privy to anything that is not public, but the story is that her ear had a problem in South Africa and that it wasn’t safe to fly back to Monaco until it got fixed. Medical tourism is a thing in India. If you are willing to pay top dollars for medical treatments it is still a fraction of cost of USA.
