When you share your life on Instagram, you are going to get people who hate-follow as well as people who genuinely admire and support you. You can decide what you put out there, you can try to set "boundaries", but unless you privatize your page, but you can't control the response you get.

I think they are well aware of that and its besides the point. Of course they are opening themselves up to criticism by putting themselves out there but just because we all CAN doesn't mean we all SHOULD. I was so disgusted when I accidentally stumbled upon this thread and how invested so many people are in ridiculous things that are one of their business or concern.

Well perhaps you should dive a little deeper into the awful things that have been said before jumping in and defending them then. I was taught to call out bad behavior when I see it and stand up against bullying and teach my children to do the same. Ok. You've called it out. As you can see, the thread just keeps on rolling. As you said, just because someone CAN take your words into account... doesn't mean they will. Or even that they SHOULD.  :D

I haven't really participated in this thread and have never followed this Instagram account so I'm not even sure who this Sherry person is. lol OK thanks for the pep talk - I didn't expect my post to stop this thread obviously....But yes let’s just never point out something we feel is wrong because not 100% of the world will listen.  :roll: HARD ROLL.

Also I think your last statement is pretty irrelevant since I really could care less about how they handle criticism or and that’s not my problem. It was the obsessive investment DCmoms seem to have in the mental state, life choices and afterschool schedules of total strangers that was so baffling to me….People who are happy and fulfilled in their own lives don't tend to hate follow when they can't stand someones voice or what they have to say....they UNfollow so byeeeee  :thumbup:
