Right. The evidence is in: people OOS know about UVA and think it’s a gem. Most of the bashing of UVA on these threads reflects the frustration with getting in and dealing with the excitement of those that do. Of course, that in-state frustration/excitement dynamic also suggests that UVA is a coveted admit. From an objective perspective, how could it not be? You’re getting a Top 25 education, lots of top athletics and school pride, and a nearby location for less than half the price of similarly situated schools. [/quote]
