My DH watched the plane hit pentagon as he was driving to work.  It was utter chaos. He turned around and came back home. I heard about the first plane hitting the tower on the morning radio show...the host was laughing because a few months ago another light airplane had crashed into the towers ...how stupid are these pilots. Then I was at the office and the second plane hit. A person whose spouse worked in one of the spy agencies told us that this was an attack.  We all were told to go home and we did.  My parents were visiting from another country and my kid was home with them.  I cannot ever forget what we saw that day. That was beyond horrible.  Frankly, the terror we felt that day was not comparable to the COVID pandemic.  Mainly because COVID is invisible and we are not seeing people die the same way in a shocking manner.  BUT, COVID has killed so many more than 9/11, and this time it is an American President and a corrupt GOP who is to be blamed for the deaths of hundreds of thousands.  [/quote]
