So way back in the day I was on these celebrity forums called Fametracker and there was endless debated about the Holmes/Cruz marriage and her pregnancy. I actually think they were "in love" or at least she was a little bowled over by him.

People forget that for a really long time in Hollywood Tom Cruise was the sh*t. There was always a little side eye about the Scientology, but he still seemed relatively normal until he got really into it and was couch jumping on Oprah. I think Katie Holmes was a starstruck and believed the Scientology line that it was compatible with her Catholic faith. What Katie Holmes had that Nicole Kidman did not is a father that is a prominent lawyer back in her hometown. Her throwing away her cellphone in China and fleeing her minders was some insane stuff, but also awesome.[/quote]
