Hitting a goose seems very likely based on how often it seems to happen in many different places. I had no idea geese that are such jerks. A Ladies Christmas Ornament Exchange apparently is a thing too. I assumed it would be southern but if you google there is a HOA development in Pleasnaton CA that has one. They are all over Pinterest so it happens elsewhere.

Omg. OP, if she’s for real, doesn’t need you to defend her against trolling. She does have an issue with animal cruelty, though, so maybe you could help her with that.
