I agree with the pp that he isn't speaking to Randall b/c of issues with Rebecca's illness. He has always been jealous of Randall's relationship with Rebecca. Something probably blew up that if the other two had known, would not have blown up. But obviously they have resolved it by the time they meet in Kevin's kitchen in the future. And yes, I am aware it's a tv show :).[/quote]

Agree with all of the above!  I also think Randall and Kevin aren’t speaking due to Randall keeping Rebecca’s health issues a secret from them.

One thing I found really strange - why did they even let Rebecca go do an errand by herself if they knew she was deteriorating?  I’m talking about in the flash forward, after it’s clear Miguel and Randall have taken her to the doctor and are well aware of what she’s dealing with.  It just seemed like they were all very relaxed, waiting at the cabin for her to come back, no one panicking at all when the police brought her in.  You’d think at that point, someone would be with her at all times.[/quote]
