I am not a VLC expert but I do follow them on Twitter and I routinely see posts about kids getting recruited and then kids actually playing at the next level and making real contributions not just waiting on the sidelines.  If you are a parent looking for a better option for your son, check out their site and tryouts and see if its a fit.  Do the same with some of the other area clubs.  Get a feel for it, a tryout fee is a minimal investment to find who is going to help your son play his best and be recognized for that play.  My 2 cents.[/quote]
