It's no different than a dad getting his nails done with his daughters. Nobody thinks they are better or worse. Moms of boys do lots of things that their boys like to do, it's really no more complicated than that.

If you child likes band and you are carrying a tuba through a parking lot you might say #bandmom... the football mom's don't think they wish their kids played football they realize their embracing the child they have.

I'd love it if one or both of my daughters marry a teacher or a nurse, or become a teacher or a nurse. I don't get it; are there FB posts about #girlmoms wanting their daughters to grow up and...marry a lawyer?

Never in  a million years - what?!  Of course I'd be fine with my daughter marrying a teacher or a nurse or a woman or a plumber or a clerk.  What the hell is wrong with you people that you are thinking, when your kids are in elementary school, about the professions of people they marry.  The ONLY time I've thought about this was when my smart 20 year old niece got into an abusive relationship. I thought dear god don't let my daughter date or marry an abusive man.  Never once did I think about whether this man has a MANLY profession or not???? And yes, my son has had male assistant teachers and male tutors.[/quote]
