Most countries don't win world cups but their players still valid playing the sport. Just enjoy the sport and life will go on. If you seriously wanted to try to win internationally, you have to pay clubs for finding and developing real talent instead of catering to rich suburban talent. It gets cut throat and ugly and discards kids that don't stack up like yesterdays trash. And for what exactly
That's fine. All I'm saying is we should stop making a big deal about our coaching, youth soccer systems and all that jazz and accept that we don't belong with the big dogs in soccer.
Big dogs prove it on the field. That is the beauty of sports competitions. Makes no difference whether anyone accepts or does not accept our high or low status in global soccer. In sports, results speak for themselves.
“Big Dogs” beat winning teams. Big Dogs do not lose 3 in a row. After beating Spirit I’d say act like you’ve won before but you actually acted appropriately in relation to your spring season.
Talking about Spirit here is out of context. The "big dogs" comment was referring to US National Soccer teams competing against the rest of the world's.
