For as large as Loudoun is they were still never able to be granted full DA status on the boys side. Why is that? What can Loudoun point to that demonstrates that they develop players and get kids recruited. All Loudoun can point to are a bunch of U10 and U11 Jeff Cup wins and a bunch of CCL league championships.

And for as large as Loudoun is they frankly suck in ECNL.

No, ECNL knows that FCV has a proven track record. Kids go to FCV for the proven track record of college placement. College placement is ECNL’s brand. A large player pool helps at U11 win Jeff Cup but Loudoun has not demonstrated an ability to develop. They were never able to even land a full DA. VDA was granted full DA status after a couple of years in existence.

I know you are at Loudoun and you’re all just so happy to be in ECNL and wearing the patch but if as a club Loudoun fails to deliver on the promise of the league then you’d better pray that DA survives. [/quote]
