"This [MSU] is not Penn State. It is worse." We should show up in droves to protest Maryland hosting the upcoming MSU vs Maryland basketball game... carrying signs with the above quote and other forceful statements. I'm sure it would make a major impact with all tv the media and all. How about it, y'all? Demand a complete housecleaning of all those who covered for the bastard and those who kept quiet, knowing that hundreds of girls were getting vaginally and rectally violated during required "treatments" by a brutal rapist employed by MSU and USA Gymnastics. These young women who endured this kind of repeated assault deserve our support. It's the least we can do. Enough is enough.
You do realize that the kids who are currently at the school have nothing to do with this, right? Nor do the Maryland kids, or their fans who will largely outnumber the MSU fans given that the game is in College Park. But you want to show up and disrupt their basketball game to get media coverage? Are you going to protest all USAG gymnastics meets, too? This is all over the news - not sure what you think protesting would accomplish that isn't already happening. MSU and USAG are getting eviscerated in the press. No question the people involved (once it's determined who they are) and the institutions need to be accountable, but you can support the girls who endured this without taking it out on people who have nothing to do with this mess.
yes. PP is a great example of the epidemic of virtue signaling, those who believe that their holding a sign and protesting is meaningful, just because they are taking a stand.
