The first reports were that a group of Muslim youth walking from a mosque were inexplicably attacked by a man swinging a bat and one girl was assaulted, abducted, and killed. That sounds very much like a hate crime and I think people could be forgiven for jumping to that conclusion. There has been very little argument that this was an anti-Muslim hate crime since more information has come out. Most of the discussion has been about immigration or arguing that it wasn't a hate crime and that religion should even be mentioned.

You are free to post about any of the other 40 murders, but expecting people to stop talking about this one won't do anything about the others. [/quote]
