He needs to end the war because it’s unpopular and he needs to bring down oil prices. yet this war is a boom for US oil companies who making a ton of money and I’m sure Trump is getting some kind of kickback. If he were to just pretend we won the war, Iran would still control the Straight (they are never giving that up) and consumers would see oil prices continue to rise.
