NOTE: she didn't want to be a gold digger. She wanted to continue to release albums, per her contract with Diddy's label. He controlled her, and that of course included financial control.  She had talent, all of it was squashed by an abusive, controlling boyfriend. [/quote] She has a 10-album deal. She continued working on music and had material, but Diddy only let her release one album.  To make money, she hosted at clubs, but was only able to when Diddy approved it.[/quote]
