Landon brought in a senior transfer from DeMatha to play basketball over 3 years ago. Prep brought in a lacrosse player from Episcopal this Summer. St. Albans took a stud FOGO from Sidwell a year ago.

None of these even compare to the 10 transfers Bullis has on its lacrosse roster or the dozen plus football transfer on your football team just in the past two seasons. I'm not denying all schools in the area pick up a transfer or two here and there but if you take away just half of the transfers Bullis brings in every year, their football and lacrosse teams would be middle of the road in the IAC.

The athletic coaches have shown little commitment to developing any home grown talent to the student athletes who have started in the middle school or who came in as freshman. It appears the school has embraced an IMG like philosophy.

Wrong, it was 2 years ago that they brought in a senior recruit, which nullifies the crying over other schools who do the same thing.  Bullis and, to a lesser extent, EHS do bring more transfers than the other IAC schools.  But if it's not your son or school, it's none of your business.

The Bullis 2016 team did not have any transfers.  All of those seniors had been there from freshmen year.  God, it is sad to see the Landon and Prep dads crying abut HS sports.  SSSA has brought in a lot of transfers, but they escape your wrath because they are less successful.
