I know someone who started working for the endowment office (at a significant paycut) and another person who joined in kind of a career services advisor row. They are not faculty but they are staff and legacies and donors, their kid gets a research assistantship with another faculty member as an unpaid summer job, and all of a sudden there are multiple ties to the school.[/quote]
