Truth.

Bostick needs to own that the worst incident in Wootton history occurred under his watch, whereas Nelson intercepted issues before they happened.  I think Bostick helped trash the school's reputation by not standing up for Wootton when Jamando's wife was on TV (even though she had no kids here and also is not a MCPS official).  The school now worries more about a student parking in the wrong stall than academics.  If he's doing this great a job trashing the school now, I can't wait to see what happens when the stress of moving to Crown kicks in.

Reality is, principals cannot stop everything that goes on in a school.  You have to look at the student population with this one.  The lack of supervision is a serious issue but they don't supervise kids in locker rooms which is a bad idea.  Jawando's wife is not relevant.  She's looking for attention.[/quote]

The same can be said of Nelson.  Principals cannot stop everything that goes on in a school.  The difference is Nelson was handling things much better than Bostick is and a much softer touch.  Nelson was removed in a heartbeat then Bostick moves in and turns the whole school upside down?  Wootton needs calm, not drama, or the Crown move will be a total mess.[/quote]
