We’ve got a 2026 Y and use self driving regularly. We always keep our hands on the wheel and foot hovering over the break so we can override it asap if needed. It’s handled sketchy situations well. I’m more worried about the “adaptive cruise control” that most cars have now - that feels a lot less regulated. Was in a Volvo with it and it was… not great.
Also love the Y. I use self driving every time I get in the car. I generally don't override and do not keep my hands on the wheel or foot near the brake. I've been doing this for about 5 months now. I do switch between standard and hurry modes if I feel like the car is not going fast enough. Those two modes seem to mimic my natural driving comfort.
