I heard the same.

If you google her name though, there was some issue with her practicing law without a license in NY State (or an expired license). In any event, she just recently went through a court proceeding around this. I wonder if the exit from Lab of Chicago was related. I do hope GDS does good diligence since that candidate showed really well according to my kids.

This was of course raised at the parent interview (not surprising if you know anything about the makeup of the GDS parent body!), and Jueds explained that she tried to leave the NY bar after she realized that she was never going to be an attorney. This issue arose because the NY bar did not record her (multiple) requests to resign from the bar. Basically, it was an administrative issue, not a criminal one.[/quote]
