[/quote] My husband is a pastor and had missionaries in his apartment building try to convert him before they knew he was a pastor. They had a meeting (after finding out he was a pastor, it wasn’t a trap) but the missionary had very scripted responses they repeated over and over. They ended up just saying something like “well we know this is true and we aren't going to convince you so we’ll just leave.” Almost like we aren’t going to waste our time. The pitch works for some people but if they find someone it won’t work on they cut their losses and move on. [/quote]
