We think giving phones and Apple Watches to elementary school students is insane. You're just going to destroy their attention spans, and for what? Chances are, they will never ever need to call you in an emergency. If you feel compelled to track them, put an AirTag in their bag. [/quote]

Seems like that says more about you than anything else. No child needs an Apple Watch to be independent. It sucks that parents give phones and Apple Watches to elementary school kids so willy nilly because it makes other kids feel like they are missing out, and that creates pressure on everyone else to follow suit, even though following suit is a terrible idea, child development-wise. There's a reason schools are banning them. [/quote]
