+1. BIL is a retired SEAL. They had all sorts of pills that would make pain disappear, appetite vanish and sleep unnecessary. He talked about missions where he'd be up for 4 days.[/quote]

Funny how practically everyone here is related to a SEAL. Like, there’s only maybe ten thousand guys who’ve ever been SEALS since the Teams were created in the 60’s - but somehow, some way, DCUM posters are usually related to one of them.

NP but I know an ex-seal, not related though. He was the son of a friend. Was really surprised he made the cut, as he was rather small at 5'6" 150lbs, but strong. More surprisingly was he was such a slacker as a teen, looked like that Nirvana singer growing up all through high school, but he cleaned up and made the cut, and stayed in for a few years.

It's not as difficult to make the cuts now apparently. Most recruits want to get into the cushy easy military positions and then make tons of money after they get out. [/quote]
